Drawing on Nature

Part of Look North Festival

Duncan Ross and Jane Morrow

About the event

This event is now sold out!

Our focus for 2026 is on using/re-using what already exist in nature within PeasPark’s boundaries to create habitats, resources and opportunities. This drawing workshop, led by Duncan Ross and Jane Morrow, will invite you to use a range of naturally occurring materials to create large-scale, experimental and observational drawings. All materials provided, either by nature herself, or by PS2.

Please note: this event takes place in a not-entirely accessible urban park. Highly recommended: sturdy footwear, an open mind, and checking your weather app in advance.

About PeasPark

PeasPark is a large green space on a former interface area between Glandore and Skegoneill Avenues. It is co-programmed and organised by custodians including residents, gardeners and arts organisation PS2. Since 2012, we have worked with the permaculture principle of integration rather than segregation; offering a range of creative, social and growing activities.

About Look North

The festival takes place over the weekend from Friday 27 to Sunday 1 March 2026,  celebrating North Belfast’s rich heritage, and its cultural, creative and literary talents. The programme features a wide range of activities and interests, including talks, walking tours, literary discussions, debates, poetry, music, workshops, and exhibitions, drawing on local talent, but also including outside performers.
